Privacy Policy Sollicitanten

In deze Privacy Policy Sollicitanten vind je informatie over de persoonsgegevens die wij van sollicitanten verwerken voor een stage- of werkplek op www.werkenbijitvstudios.nl (hierna: de Website).

Bij ITV Studios Holding B.V. hechten we veel waarde aan jouw privacy en zorgen we ervoor dat jouw gegevens veilig en zorgvuldig worden behandeld. In deze privacyverklaring leggen we duidelijk uit welke gegevens we verzamelen, waarom we dat doen en hoe we ermee omgaan. 

1. Wie is verantwoordelijk voor de verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens?

ITV Studios is een handelsnaam van ITV Studios Holding B.V. (onderdeel van ITV (Europe) Holdings B.V.) en de aan haar gelieerde ondernemingen (hierna: “ITV Studios” of “wij”). Via onze diensten worden jouw persoonlijke gegevens (hierna: “persoonsgegevens” of “gegevens“) verwerkt. Onder het verwerken verstaan we al het gebruik van je persoonsgegevens, zoals het opslaan, aanpassen, doorsturen of (gedeeltelijk) inzien of verwijderen van deze gegevens. Wij verwerken persoonsgegevens bijvoorbeeld doordat je solliciteert op een van onze vacatures via werkenbijitvstudios.nl. De verwerkingsverantwoordelijke hiervoor is ITV Studios, gevestigd aan de Familie De Mollaan 1, 1217 ZB te Hilversum.

2. Hoe verzamelen wij jouw persoonsgegevens?

Wij verzamelen je gegevens door deze van je te vragen, namelijk bij het invullen van de persoonsgegevens die je op onze Website achterlaat (en in uitzonderlijke gevallen per mail) voor de betreffende sollicitatieprocedure. Jouw persoonsgegevens worden door ons opgeslagen nadat je op de Website op de knop “Verzend” hebt geklikt.

Je hebt daarbij zelf de keuze of je deze gegevens met ons wil delen of niet. Wel kan het zo zijn dat wanneer je bepaalde gegevens niet wil delen, wij je sollicitatie niet in behandeling kunnen nemen. Bij het invullen van je gegevens geven we aan welke gegevens noodzakelijk zijn, en welke optioneel. 

Daarnaast zijn er ook gegevens die we automatisch verzamelen, bijvoorbeeld (technische) gegevens over de apparaten die je gebruikt. Deze gegevens worden door ons verzameld via cookies en soortgelijke technieken.  Welke dat zijn, kun je lezen in onze cookie verklaring.

3. Hoe gebruiken we jouw persoonsgegevens?

De persoonsgegevens die wij verzamelen kunnen wij voor verschillende doelen gebruiken. Hieronder vind je de informatie over de verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens per onderwerp. We zullen jouw gegevens niet gebruiken voor andere doeleinden dan die hieronder staan beschreven.

Het selecteren en benaderen van de meest geschikte sollicitant(-en) voor de vacature 

Op basis van de ontvangen persoonsgegevens kunnen wij ons een goed beeld vormen van alle sollicitanten. Vervolgens beoordelen wij welke sollicitanten geschikt zouden kunnen zijn voor de betreffende functie. Afhankelijk van de functie kunnen we ook een assessment afnemen. Hierbij maakt ITV Studios gebruik van professionele partijen voor het afnemen van assessments.

Daarnaast willen wij graag de mogelijkheid hebben om met sollicitanten contact op te kunnen nemen en/of informatie te kunnen sturen en om deze uit te nodigen voor een gesprek. 

Voor de selectie en benadering van sollicitanten hebben we bepaalde gegevens nodig. Hiervoor verzamelen wij de volgende gegevens:

Basisgegevens:

• Naam, adres en woonplaats;
• Contactgegevens zoals een (mobiel)telefoonnummer en e-mailadres;
• Geboortedatum en leeftijd;
• Geslacht;
• Cv
• Motivatie voor de functie
• Foto

We gebruiken jouw gegevens om de meest geschikte sollicitanten voor onze vacatures te kunnen selecteren en benaderen.  Dit doen wij op basis van verschillende grondslagen. In principe vragen we je altijd om toestemming. Verder gebruiken wij jouw gegevens omdat wij of een eventuele derde partij hier een gerechtvaardigd belang bij hebben, namelijk ten behoeve van de sollicitatieprocedure. Hierbij maken we altijd een zorgvuldige afweging tussen ons belang en jouw privacybelang.

Indien de sollicitatie in behandeling wordt genomen, kunnen wij ook de onderstaande additionele gegevens verwerken:

• Aantekeningen van het sollicitatiegesprek
• (indien van toepassing) de resultaten van een assessment
• Informatie verkregen via de door jou doorgegeven referenten

Wij verwerken tot slot geen bijzondere persoonsgegevens van sollicitanten, zoals gegevens over ras, etnische afkomst, politieke opvattingen, geloofsovertuiging, vakbond lidmaatschap, geaardheid, gezondheids- of strafrechtelijke gegevens.

Bij een afwijzing bewaren wij de basisgegevens voor dit doeleinde tot 4 weken na afloop van de sollicitatieperiode, tenzij je ons toestemming hebt gegeven jouw persoonsgegevens voor de duur van 1 (één) jaar te bewaren ten behoeve van toekomstige vacatures bij ITV Studios.

De opname in ons sollicitanten-bestand

Wanneer je opgenomen wilt worden in ons sollicitanten-bestand voor toekomstige vacatures bij ITV Studios, hebben wij de volgende gegevens nodig:

Basisgegevens:

• Naam, adres en woonplaats;
• Contactgegevens zoals een (mobiel)telefoonnummer en e-mailadres;
• Geboortedatum en leeftijd;
• Geslacht;
• Cv
• Motivatie voor de functie
• Foto

Wij verwerken deze gegevens enkel op basis van jouw toestemming. Je kunt je op ieder moment afmelden voor ons sollicitanten-bestand. We bewaren deze gegevens voor de duur van 1 (één) jaar ten behoeve van toekomstige vacatures bij ITV Studios, zolang je in het sollicitanten-bestand wil staan. Jouw gegevens worden verwijderd zodra je je voor het sollicitanten-bestand afmeldt. 

4. Met wie kunnen we jouw persoonsgegevens delen?

Je gegevens kunnen binnen ITV Studios worden uitgewisseld en gecombineerd. Zie ook ‘1. Wie is verantwoordelijk voor jouw gegevens?’

De persoonsgegevens zijn alleen toegankelijk voor medewerkers die betrokken zijn bij de sollicitatieprocedure.

Mochten wij jouw persoonsgegevens delen met een derde partij die wij inschakelen in het kader van de sollicitatieprocedure, bijvoorbeeld voor het afnemen van een assessment, dan treedt deze derde partij op  in de rol van verwerker. Dit houdt in dat wij het doel en middelen voor deze verwerkingen bepalen en de verwerker alleen volgens onze instructies en onze (beveiliging)standaarden met jouw gegevens mag omgaan. Deze afspraken leggen we met elke verwerker vast in een zogenaamde verwerkersovereenkomst.

5. Welke cookies gebruiken wij?

Op onze websites en/of apps maken wij gebruik van cookies en andere soortgelijke technieken (hierna: “cookies“). Cookies zijn informatiebestandjes die bij het bezoeken van een website automatisch kunnen worden opgeslagen op of uitgelezen van het apparaat (zoals PC, tablet of smartphone) van de websitebezoeker. Je kunt via je browser het plaatsen van cookies uitschakelen, maar sommige functies van onze website werken dan niet goed meer. 6. Hoe beveiligen wij jouw persoonsgegevens?

We doen ons uiterste best om de persoonsgegevens zo goed mogelijk te beveiligen. We doen dit door het treffen van organisatorische en technische beveiligingsmaatregelen die gelet op de stand van de techniek proberen te voorkomen dat iemand ongeoorloofde toegang tot de gegevens krijgt, deze kan aanpassen, openbaar kan maken of ervoor kan zorgen dat de gegevens verloren gaan. Hiervoor gebruiken wij beveiligingsmaatregelen zoals:

• Strikte toegangscontroles
• Twee factor authenticatie
• Regelmatige beveiligingsaudits en monitoring

Als we zogenaamde verwerkers inschakelen, verplichten we deze om volgens onze instructies en onze (beveiliging)standaarden met jouw gegevens om te gaan. Zie ook ‘4. Met wie kunnen we jouw persoonsgegevens delen?’.

7. Wat zijn jouw rechten met betrekking tot jouw persoonsgegevens?

Als persoon wiens gegevens door ITV Studios verwerkt worden, heb je de volgende rechten:

• Recht op inzage: je hebt het recht de persoonsgegevens die wij van jou verwerken, in te zien.
• Recht op rectificatie: je hebt het recht de persoonsgegevens die wij van jouw verwerken, te corrigeren of aan te vullen indien deze onjuist of onvolledig zijn.
• Recht om je toestemming in te trekken: je kunt je toestemming altijd eenvoudig intrekken.
• Recht van bezwaar: je kunt bezwaar maken tegen de verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens.
• Recht op verwijdering: je kunt ons verzoeken je persoonsgegevens te verwijderen.
• Recht op overdraagbaarheid van gegevens: indien het technisch mogelijk is, heb je het recht om de persoonsgegevens die wij van jou verwerken te laten overdragen naar een derde partij.
• Recht op beperking van de verwerking: in sommige gevallen kun je verzoeken om het verwerken van je persoonsgegevens (al dan niet tijdelijk) te beperken wat betekent dat wij minder gegevens van je verwerken.

Wanneer je gebruik wilt maken van een van deze rechten, kunnen wij je vragen om je te identificeren. Wij vragen hiervoor gegevens op om er zeker van te zijn dat jij de juiste persoon bent aan wie de persoonsgegevens toebehoren. Je kunt ons altijd een verzoek sturen om je rechten uit te oefenen. Je doet dit door een e-mail te sturen naar privacy.nl@itv.com. 

Wij zullen in principe binnen een maand aan jouw verzoek voldoen. Deze termijn kan echter worden verlengd om redenen die verband houden met de specifieke rechten van betrokkenen of de complexiteit van het verzoek. Als wij deze termijn verlengen, zullen wij jou daarvan tijdig op de hoogte stellen. 

8. Klachten

Als je een klacht in wil dienen over het gebruik van je persoonsgegevens kun je een e- mail sturen naar privacy.nl@itv.com. Wij pakken elke klacht intern op en communiceren dit verder met jou. Als je vindt dat wij je niet op de juiste manier helpen, dan heb je het recht om een klacht in te dienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Vragen of klachten op het gebied van privacy kun je stellen aan ons Privacy Office via privacy.nl@itv.com .

10. Wijzigingen

Wij kunnen deze Privacy Policy Sollicitanten eenzijdig wijzigen. We raden je dan ook aan om regelmatig deze policy op wijzigingen te controleren. Als we grote wijzigingen aanbrengen, zullen we je daarvan op de hoogte stellen. Bijvoorbeeld door een melding op onze website te plaatsen, via e-mail of doordat we opnieuw toestemming vragen.

De laatste wijziging was op 1 januari 2026.

In this Privacy Policy for Applicants you will find information about the personal data that we process of applicants for an internship or workplace at www.werkenbijitvstudios.nl (hereinafter: the Website).

At ITV Studios Holding B.V., we value your privacy and ensure that your data is handled safely and carefully. In this privacy statement, we clearly explain what data we collect, why we do it and how we handle it. 

1. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

ITV Studios is a trade name of ITV Studios Holding B.V. (part of ITV (Europe) Holdings B.V.) and its affiliates (hereinafter: “ITV Studios” or “we“). Your personal data (hereinafter: “personal data” or “data“) is processed through our services. By processing we mean all the use of your personal data, such as storing, modifying, forwarding or (partially) viewing or deleting this data. We process personal data, for example, because you apply for one of our vacancies via werkenbijitvstudios.nl. The controller for this is ITV Studios, located at Familie De Mollaan 1, 1217 ZB in Hilversum.

2. How do we collect your personal data?

We collect your data by asking you to do so, namely when you fill in the personal data you leave on our Website (and in exceptional cases by e-mail) for the relevant application procedure. Your personal data will be stored by us after you have clicked on the “Send” button on the Website.

You have the choice whether you want to share this data with us or not. However, if you do not want to share certain data, we may not be able to process your application. When filling in your details, we indicate which data is necessary and which is optional. 

In addition, there is also data that we collect automatically, for example (technical) data about the devices you use. This data is collected by us via cookies and similar techniques.  You can read what these are in our cookie statement.

3. How do we use your personal data?

We can use the personal data we collect for various purposes. Below you will find the information about the processing of your personal data per subject. We will not use your data for any purpose other than those described below.

Selecting and approaching the most suitable applicant(s) for the vacancy 

Based on the personal data received, we can form a good picture of all applicants. We then assess which applicants could be suitable for the position in question. Depending on the position, we can also conduct an assessment. ITV Studios uses professional parties to conduct assessments.

In addition, we would like to have the opportunity to contact applicants and/or send information and to invite them for an interview. 

We need certain data for the selection and approach of applicants. For this purpose, we collect the following data:

Basic data:

• Name, address and place of residence;
• Contact details such as a (mobile) telephone number and e-mail address;
• Date of birth and age;
• Gender;
• CV
• Motivation for the position
• Photo

We use your data to select and approach the most suitable applicants for our vacancies.  We do this on the basis of various principles. In principle, we always ask for your permission. We also use your data because we or any third party have a legitimate interest in doing so, namely for the purpose of the application procedure. In doing so, we always carefully weigh up our interests and your privacy interests.

If the application is processed, we may also process the following additional data:

• Interview notes
• (if applicable) the results of an assessment
• Information obtained from the referees you provided

Finally, we do not process any special personal data of applicants, such as data on race, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, sexual orientation, health or criminal data.

In the event of a rejection, we will retain the basic data for this purpose for up to 4 weeks after the end of the application period, unless you have given us permission to store your personal data for the duration of 1 (one) year for future vacancies at ITV Studios.

The inclusion in our applicant database

If you would like to be included in our applicant database for future vacancies at ITV Studios, we will need the following information:

• Contact details such as a (mobile) telephone number and e-mail address;
• Date of birth and age;
• Gender;
• CV
• Motivation for the position
• Photo

We only process this data on the basis of your consent. You can unsubscribe from our applicant database at any time. We keep this data for the duration of 1 (one) year for future vacancies at ITV Studios, as long as you want to be in the applicant file. Your data will be deleted as soon as you unsubscribe from the applicant file. 

4. Who can we share your personal data with?

Your data can be exchanged and combined within ITV Studios. See also ‘1. Who is responsible for your data?’

The personal data is only accessible to employees involved in the application procedure.

If we share your personal data with a third party that we engage in the context of the application procedure, for example to conduct an assessment, this third party will act in the role of processor. This means that we determine the purpose and means for this processing and that the processor may only handle your data in accordance with our instructions and our (security) standards. We record these agreements with each processor in a so-called processing agreement.

5. Which cookies do we use?

On our websites and/or apps, we use cookies and other similar techniques (hereinafter: “cookies“). Cookies are small information files that can be automatically stored on or read from the device (such as PC, tablet or smartphone) of the website visitor when visiting a website. You can disable the placing of cookies via your browser, but some functions of our website will no longer work properly. 6. How do we protect your personal data?

We do our utmost to secure personal data as well as possible. We do this by taking organisational and technical security measures that, in view of the state of the art, try to prevent someone from gaining unauthorised access to the data, modifying it, making it public or causing the loss of the data. For this we use security measures such as:

• Strict access controls
• Two-factor authentication
• Regular security audits and monitoring

If we engage so-called processors, we oblige them to handle your data in accordance with our instructions and our (security) standards. See also ‘4. With whom can we share your personal data?’.

7. What are your rights with regard to your personal data?

As a person whose data is processed by ITV Studios, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: you have the right to view the personal data that we process about you.
• Right to rectification: you have the right to correct or supplement the personal data that we process about you if it is incorrect or incomplete.
• Right to withdraw your consent: You can easily withdraw your consent at any time.
• Right to object: you can object to the processing of your personal data.
• Right to erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data.
• Right to data portability: if it is technically possible, you have the right to have the personal data that we process about you transferred to a third party.
• Right to restriction of processing: in some cases, you can request that the processing of your personal data be restricted (temporarily or otherwise), which means that we process less of your data.

If you want to exercise one of these rights, we may ask you to identify yourself. We request data for this to ensure that you are the right person to whom the personal data belongs. You can always send us a request to exercise your rights. You can do this by sending an email to privacy.nl@itv.com. 

In principle, we will comply with your request within one month. However, this period may be extended for reasons related to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request. If we extend this period, we will inform you in good time. 

8. Complaints

If you want to submit a complaint about the use of your personal data, you can send an e-mail to privacy.nl@itv.com. We handle every complaint internally and communicate this further with you. If you feel that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

9. Questions

Questions or complaints in the field of privacy can be directed to our Privacy Office via privacy.nl@itv.com .

10. Changes

We may unilaterally change this Privacy Policy for Job Applicants. We therefore recommend that you regularly check this policy for changes. If we make any major changes, we’ll let you know. For example, by posting a notification on our website, via e-mail or by asking permission again.

The last change was on January 1, 2026.
